Aftercare Advice Polynucleotide & Celora™ Vita Treatments

The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your healing and to help achieve the best results possible from your treatment.

After treatment, the skin may be red, raised or bruised at the injection sites. These after-effects will resolve, expected within a few days (please be aware it can take up to two weeks for more extensive bruising to resolve). A feeling of 'fullness' or tightness of the skin may be experienced. This is normal, and will ease with time. 

Please follow the below aftercare advice:

• Avoid applying makeup or skincare products to the treated areas for twenty-four hours as this will help reduce the risk of infection. Do not touch, rub or massage the skin.
• Avoid extremes of temperature, saunas or swimming for the first twenty-four hours.
• Avoid exercise, strenuous activity or alcohol for the first twenty-four hours as this can worsen bruising.
• Apply a cold compress to the affected swollen areas for comfort (do not apply ice directly to skin!). 

Medical attention must be sought and contact us if you experience any signs or symptoms of infection after treatment (i.e., hot, red shiny skin with potential pus formation and fever).

Emergency medical attention must be sought if you experience any severe allergy symptoms after treatment (i.e., rash, facial swelling or breathing difficulties).

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice any other side effects.

The peak results are often seen 2-3 months after the final treatment. A treatment course of three sessions is recommended for optimal results. Results are expected to last for 6 months, with a booster treatment recommended at 6 months.
